Process of adding an addition to your home

1. Client/sales rep onsite consultation

   We will set up an appointment for a sales rep to meet you out on site to discuss your needs and to check out the area so our sales reps can give the best options for you. After our discussions with you, we prepare a quote based on your personal requirements, budget and design preferences.

2. Drawings Stage

   If you are happy with the quote, we then move on to the drawings stage, where our qualified draftsman will draw up your plans to submit to council. Our draftsman will liaise with you to make sure you are happy with the drawings and make alterations if necessary. You will be given a set to sign off on with before we submit them to council.

3. Contracts and Council

   Once you have approved your drawings we set up a meeting to go over our HIA contract and go over the specifications of your job, which will be written up for you. Once you are happy with everything, we then submit them to your local shire/council and the Water Corporation.

   We are very experienced in submitting plans to councils and we try to make the process as quick and painless as possible by supplying the council with all paperwork, measurements and specifications that they will require. Please note though, most councils will take 4 - 8 weeks to approve applications, regardless of whether everything has been supplied as they go through their own process system.

4. Construction

   Once you plans have been approved by council, we will start ordering your materials and manufacturing your structure. While the manufacturing and ordering is being processed, we are out on site straight away doing all the earthworks eg- demolition (if required), compaction, pest control and getting your slab ready for your structure. From here the structure goes up very quickly and before you know it, you have that extra living space you craved!
